- “Network” Video Out Now
- US Tour Dates Kickoff September 18th
If BAD NERVES still aren’t on your radar, now would be a really good time to fix that.
The Essex five-piece have spent the past few years building a reputation as one of the most exciting punk bands coming out of the UK, armed with ridiculously catchy songs played at breakneck speed and a live show that seems physically incapable of dialing it down. Now they’re back with the official video for their latest single, “Network,” just before another North American run kicks off September 18.
And “Network” sounds like BAD NERVES hitting another gear.
WATCH the video for “Network” here:
There’s still plenty of the fast, melodic punk that made this band so immediately addictive, but the new track hits harder. It’s sharp, loud, and frantic without turning into a wall of noise, with one of those choruses BAD NERVES somehow manages to make feel enormous while everything around it is moving a hundred miles an hour.
The song itself takes on the exhausting amount of information being thrown at us through social media, online platforms, and the never-ending news cycle, and what happens when it becomes increasingly difficult to separate reality from whatever version of it we’re being fed.
Brothers Donnie Clemson and BAD NERVES frontman Bobby Bird directed and produced the newly released video, giving “Network” a visual counterpart as the band starts revealing what comes next after 2024’s Still Nervous.
If you’ve been following BAD NERVES for a while, their current rise shouldn’t be particularly surprising. This is a band built for the stage.
They’re fast without becoming sloppy, melodic without sanding off the edges, and capable of writing the kind of hooks that stick in your head long after the song ends. More importantly, there’s an electricity to BAD NERVES that translates ridiculously well live. They don’t just play these songs faster and louder onstage. They make you understand exactly why people keep telling their friends they need to see this band.
And lately, BAD NERVES have had plenty of opportunities to prove it.
Their 2026 schedule has taken them across Europe and North America for shows with The Offspring, Rise Against and Die Toten Hosen, along with festival appearances including Lollapalooza Chicago, Outside Lands, Sziget Festival, Rock Werchter and 2000trees. That followed tours with Green Day and Weezer and trips through South America, Australia and Japan.
Even Billie Joe Armstrong got hooked, calling BAD NERVES “the best band in England right now” before personally inviting them to join Green Day on their South American stadium run. BBC Radio 1’s Daniel P Carter came up with another description that might be even more fitting: “your favourite band’s favourite band.”
Now North America gets another shot at them.

BAD NERVES return September 18 for a run that mixes headline shows with festival appearances and select dates supporting Sex Pistols feat. Frank Carter. CityFolk, CBGB Festival and Austin City Limits are among the stops before the tour wraps October 11 in Austin.
And while the venues and crowds keep getting bigger, Bobby Bird seems pretty clear about how much this band means to him:
“It feels like this is the main thing we’ll ever do in our lives. If we’re remembered for anything, let it be this.”
That kind of statement could sound dramatic coming from the wrong band, but coming from BAD NERVES, it makes perfect sense.
Because underneath all that speed and sweat and adrenaline are genuinely great songs. BAD NERVES are one of those bands that can make punk feel immediate again…the kind that makes you want to turn the volume up, get out of the house, and go stand too close to a stage.
And if you get the chance to do exactly that on this upcoming run, take it.
