UK band Bring Me the Horizon has announced via social media that they have parted ways with longtime keyboardist/programmer Jordan Fish, who leaves the band after 11 years.

Fish joined Bring Me the Horizon for the writing and recording of their 2013 album Sempiternal and was instrumental in helping to introduce a more melodic sound that enabled the band to reach tons of new fans outside of the deathcore scene.

The band and Fish both issued statements on his departure via social media.

BMTH stated, “Bring Me the Horizon has decided to part ways with Jordan Fish. We want to thank him for the musical journey he took with us and wish him luck with everything in the future. Meanwhile, we continue to work on NeX GEn, with brand new music coming very soon. See you on our UK tour in January.”

Fish stated, “I’m really grateful for my 11 years with the band, and extremely proud of all that we have achieved together. I look forward to hearing what they do next, and wish them every success in the future. I’m excited to start this next chapter in my career.”

Fish appeared on three albums of the band’s albums, including Sempiternal, 2015’s That’s the Spirit, and 2019’s amo. It is unclear what contributions Fish made to their upcoming album, POST HUMAN: NeX GEn. The LP was supposed to drop in September but has been pushed to a new release date that’s yet to be announced.

Beginning in late January 2024, BMTH has a UK tour that will be followed by an Australian tour in April, and a performance at Las Vegas’ Sick New World festival on April 27th. A trek of European festivals are slated for June and July.
