The storied legacy of CBGB & OMFUG returns to life on Saturday, September 27, 2025, as CBGB Festival, presented in partnership with The Bowery Presents, takes over Under the K Bridge Park in Brooklyn for a one-day punk rock celebration.
This raucous event will feature 21 generation‑spanning bands across three stages, bridging punk’s originators with today’s fiercest voices. Headliners include Iggy Pop, marking his first New York City performance in over a decade, and Jack White, fresh from sold‑out NYC shows earlier in 2025.
The festival’s legendary roster includes Sex Pistols (featuring original members backed by vocalist Frank Carter), Johnny Marr, The Damned, and Marky Ramone, alongside hardcore-era CBGB staples such as Gorilla Biscuits, Murphy’s Law, Cro-Mags, and modern torchbearers like The Linda Lindas, Scowl, Lambrini Girls, Angel Du$t, Pinkshift, Soul Glo, and Lip Critic.
Under the historic K Bridge, the festival’s industrial setting offers an atmospheric tribute to punk’s gritty past while immersing fans in contemporary performances. Attendees can expect a full-day lineup, vintage and new merchandise, local food and beverages, and immersive installations such as the original CBGB bar and stage recreated onsite.
