Opening for Our Lady Peace on their OLP30 tour stop in Fort Worth, The Verve Pipe kicked off the night at Tannahill’s Music Hall with a tight, high-energy set rooted in late-’90s alt-rock nostalgia. From “Photograph” to a crowd-singing takeover during “The Freshmen,” the band delivered a performance that balanced melody and grit, closing with a powerful cover of Soundgarden’s “Black Hole Sun” that left the room fully charged for the night ahead.
