On a brisk October night in Milwaukee, the American Family Insurance Amphitheater became the epicenter of raw emotion, crushing riffs, and unrelenting energy as Pierce The Veil brought their long-anticipated I Can’t Hear You World Tour to Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The night promised catharsis, connection, and chaos in the best way. From the pit to the highest bleachers, the crowd pulsed with excitement, a sea of dyed hair, DIY signs, and tattooed lyrics etched into skin. With a stacked lineup featuring Like Roses, Ecca Vandal, and HEALTH, the build-up to the headliners was as electrifying as the main event itself.
The evening kicked off with Like Roses, and what a way to set the tone. The band’s energetic set felt like a shot of adrenaline to a packed house at the amphitheater, the kind of start that tells you you’re in for a night of loud, passionate music. Their confidence and charisma played like seasoned veterans, delivering standout performances of “Splenetic” and “Easy” that had fans singing along and moshing before the sun had fully set.

They moved through tight, catchy riffs with the kind of confidence usually reserved for headliners, and by the time their last chord rang out, the crowd was already buzzing. Fans lingered, energized and ready, as if they knew this was just the opener.
Next came Ecca Vandal, who brought a jolt of vibrant chaos to the stage. Her genre-defying style – equal parts punk, hip-hop, and futuristic alt-pop – lit a fire under the growing audience. Her voice soared over punchy instrumentation, commanding the spotlight with charisma. Her track “CRUISING TO SELF SOOTHE” turned the amphitheater into a dance-punk fever dream. With her fearless energy and fierce vocals, Vandal proved she wasn’t just warming up the stage – she was claiming it.

By the time her set wrapped, even the back rows were on their feet, clapping and moving with a shared, electric rhythm.
Then came the dark, industrial onslaught of HEALTH, and the entire vibe shifted. Their intense, atmospheric set felt like descending into a sonic underworld. “ORDINARY LOSS ” and “FEEL NOTHING” thundered across the amphitheater, and with strobe lights slicing through clouds of smoke, their set felt more like an audio-visual art piece than a traditional rock performance. The crowd responded with equal intensity – some headbanging in the pit, others standing transfixed, soaking in the weight of every distorted beat.

By the end of their set, the amphitheater had been fully transformed, primed for what was to come.
When Pierce The Veil finally emerged, the screams were deafening. Thousands of fans erupted as the lights went down and the first haunting notes of “Death of an Executioner” filled the night air. From that moment, the band delivered a set that was equal parts emotional purge and full-blown rock spectacle. Vic Fuentes’ voice was in top form, soaring and sharp as he led the crowd through anthems like “Bulls in the Bronx” and “Floral & Fading.” Guitarist Tony Perry and bassist Jaime Preciado roamed the stage with swagger, while drummer Loniel Robinson pounded out thunderous rhythms that reverberated from the floor to the farthest seats.
As the night surged to its finale, Pierce The Veil unleashed a jaw-dropping closing stretch. The lighting rig pulsed like it had a heartbeat of its own – blood-red strobes, searing white flashes, smoke flooding the stage like a battlefield. Every song felt like a new war, and the band never lost a single one. Even the audience got to join in as lights of every color glowed down onto the stage as fans raised their phone lights. “Hell Above” lit the fuse, “Emergency Contact” had every voice screaming back the words, and “Circles” nearly caused the amphitheater to explode with emotion.
As the final notes of “King for a Day” echoed into the crisp lake breeze and the last bursts of multicolored heart-shaped paper floated toward the water, it was clear the American Family Insurance Amphitheater had just witnessed something unforgettable. Beyond the spectacle, the emotional carnage, and the deafening roars, what lingered was the overwhelming sense of unity – from the diehard fans in the front row to the teens next to the grassy hills overlooking the stage. Pierce The Veil didn’t come to play it safe. They came to level the place. And judging by the wreckage – sweat-soaked fans, shredded voices, a pit that never quit – they succeeded. Milwaukee, known for its deep musical roots and passionate rock scene, proved to be the perfect stop for this juggernaut of a tour.
