Wolf Alice brought their unmistakable blend of grit and grace to the House of Blues in Dallas on October 1, 2025, delivering a set that reminded fans why they’ve become one of the most dynamic bands in modern rock. They turned the packed room into a dreamlike storm of distortion, melody, and pure emotion. Touring in support of their latest album The Clearing, the London band proved once again that no one blends beauty and chaos quite like they do.
Opening with the haunting “Thorns,” the band eased the crowd into their world before hitting full throttle with “How Can I Make It OK?” and “Delicious Things.” Ellie Rowsell’s vocals were hypnotic, equal parts fierce and fragile, while Joff Oddie’s guitar work carved through the room with precision. “Formidable Cool” and “Just Two Girls” carried a swagger that had the floor bouncing, showing off the band’s knack for making moody rock feel anthemic.

New tracks like “Leaning Against the Wall” and “Passenger Seat” from The Clearing landed beautifully live, their shimmering edges and pulsing bass lines blending seamlessly with older staples like “Your Loves Whore” and “Safe From Heartbreak (If You Never Fall in Love).” The crowd was locked in from start to finish: heads nodding, bodies swaying, every lyric echoed back toward the stage.
By mid-set, Wolf Alice had the House of Blues in their grasp. “White Horses” and “Bros” stirred up a wave of nostalgia, while “Yuk Foo” and “Play the Greatest Hits” tore through the air like lightning…short, loud, and completely unhinged in the best way possible. The softer moments hit just as hard. “The Sofa” and “Silk” reminded everyone that this band knows how to weaponize vulnerability, while “Play It Out” and “Smile” pushed the energy back to the edge of eruption.

They closed the main set with the explosive “Bloom Baby Bloom,” the kind of track that turns a concert into catharsis, before returning for a one-song encore that felt almost sacred. “Don’t Delete the Kisses” washed over the room, uniting the crowd in one last, euphoric singalong.

By the time the lights came up, it was clear that Wolf Alice isn’t just touring behind another great record—they’re standing in full command of their craft. The Clearing tour proves they’ve grown sharper, louder, and more emotionally resonant than ever, and Dallas got every ounce of that evolution in one unforgettable night. Wolf Alice didn’t need spectacle or excess; they simply played with precision, passion, and purpose. It was a show that proved their staying power, a reminder that in a crowded indie rock landscape, few bands make it feel this personal, this powerful, and this alive.
