Emerging from the shadows of Dallas in 2022, SEVIT has been turning heads and rattling bones in the Texas darkwave scene ever since. With a sound that straddles goth, post-punk, and a splash of esoteric rock ‘n’ roll weirdness, this quartet brings a haunting energy to every stage they step on, and fans can’t get enough.

Fronted by the magnetic Mario Tremaine, the band’s lineup is rounded out by Cam B. on synths, Brian Weems on guitar, and Maddie Fritz holding it down on bass. Each member injects their own flavor into the sonic stew, creating tracks that are moody, melodic, and made to move to.

From hypnotic grooves to full-on goth rock anthems, SEVIT refuses to play inside any one box. They’ve opened for heavy-hitters like The Chameleons, Covenant, Vision Video, Twin Tribes, Urban Heat, and She Past Away, winning over crowds with their theatrical performances and pulsing, immersive soundscapes.

Lyrically, SEVIT dances on the edge of light and shadow. Tracks like “Shipwrecked” and “Cold Dreams” hit hard with themes of addiction and personal loss, while songs like “Witches Broom” and “Drain to White” crank up the tempo with a playful (but still dark) nod to vampires, mysticism, and other late-night thrills.
