On October 27th through 29th at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, Danny Elfman will perform songs from Tim Burton’s classic film The Nightmare Before Christmas, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary.

The Halloween season concerts will have Elfman stepping back into the role of Jack Skellington to perform the music he wrote for the 1993 Disney film. Special guests will be announced soon and conductor John Mauceri will once again be on hand to lead a full orchestra and choir.

A Live Nation pre-sale will begin on Wednesday, September 13th (use code STUDIO) and the general on-sale begins September 15th on Ticketmaster.

“It’s impossible to believe it has been thirty years since Tim Burton made our strange little musical,” Elfman said in a press release. “What a tremendous thrill it is to perform it live in concert again at the iconic Hollywood Bowl.”

Pre-show activities include a costume contest, trick-or-treating stations, and spooky photo opportunities.
