It was a warm spring night in Green Bay, Wisconsin, a good trait for a Saturday evening as fans walked from farther parking lots for the sold-out show at the Epic Event Center.

The Midwestern venue, holding a capacity of 2,100 and over 25,000 square feet, was packed to the brim with rock and post-hardcore fans alike. As you squeezed your way through the crowd, you could see fans holding up posters and cheering for the bands, tour shirts donned by almost everyone there, and big grins on people’s faces as they chatted in anticipation of the upcoming show.

Starting off the night, Los Angeles-based pop-alt duo Sace6 took the stage. Lead singer “Sace” blends his melodic vocals with guitarist and producer Noah Thomas’ heavy riffs and growls to find a mix that makes their style so unique. With the push for their individual style and gritty sound, the duo found themselves touring as support for Dayseeker in the UK and now the U.S.

Just a few days ago, on May 8th, 2026, Sace6 released their album dubbed Brutalist under Sumerian Records after their debut album, Limerence, which was released a year prior on June 6th, 2025. The duality on the record is undoubtedly the most prominent aspect; the duo pushes through the album in a way that flows song to song.

Their setlist covered a majority of songs off the aforementioned records, with highlights being “Nepenthe” and “Perfidy,” which really fed into the mixed-genre narrative Sace6 is aiming for.

Following the Los Angeles duo, post-hardcore and alternative metal band Wind Walkers took over the Green Bay stage with heavy riffs and strong vocals. Hailing from central Massachusetts, Wind Walkers started their group in 2012 under the name “Atlas,” which changed quickly to Wind Walkers as stated in an interview with Dear Untitled, “…we all decided to change our band name because there’s an “Atlas” in every fucking state these days.”

Once redubbed and ready to create, Wind Walkers self-released their debut EP, The Shadow Thieves, in 2016, which was followed by their more known albums, The Lost Boys in 2018 and What If I Break? in 2023, both of which followed the trend of being self-released. Last year Wind Walkers dropped I Don’t Belong Here, a six-track album signed with Fearless Records. The album highlights some of their pop and R&B influences while, of course, also having that heavy post-hardcore sound they’re known for. Off the album, “Sink Into Me” and “Funeral Balloons” are definitely top highlights, loud while also being vulnerable with a heavy focus on vocals.

Fans were captivated by a setlist that was a mix of I Don’t Belong Here and What If I Break? The mix of thoughtful melodies highlighted by phone lights being slowly waved to the beat and heavier tracks that pushed for crowd surfers and moshing really made Wind Walkers set feel special and a warm-up to what was to come.

Next on the bill was Australian metalcore band Northlane, who completely controlled the venue. Formed in 2009, Northlane began with guitarist Jon Deiley, drummer Brendan Derby, vocalist Adrian Fitipaldes, bassist Alex Milovic, and guitarist Josh Smith, a lineup that would record their earliest releases. Emerging from Australia’s rapidly growing heavy music scene, the band quickly made a name for itself with the 2010 debut of EP Hollow Existence, a release that showcased influences from bands such as Meshuggah, Architects, and Killswitch Engage while developing the dark and progressive sounds that would become Northlane’s signature.

Their true breakthrough arrived with the 2011 studio album Discoveries, which explored themes of spirituality and self-awareness while earning widespread acclaim within the metalcore community. Significant touring followed, including performances alongside major acts like Parkway Drive, August Burns Red, and Bring Me the Horizon, helping Northlane develop a stronger global fanbase despite still being a relatively young band. Following the album Discoveries, Singularity was released in 2013 and is widely regarded as one of the defining progressive metalcore records of the decade, praised for its songwriting and focus on human consciousness. Songs such as “Quantum Flux” became iconic within the genre and helped cement the Australian band’s reputation as innovators in the scene.

A major turning point occurred in 2014 when vocalist Adrian Fitipaldes departed due to health-related reasons. Rather than collapsing, Northlane recruited Marcus Bridge, whose vocal versatility dramatically reshaped the band’s direction. Bridge debuted on the 2015 album Node, which debuted at number one on the Australian Albums Chart and won the ARIA Award for Best Hard Rock or Heavy Metal Album.

The follow-up, Mesmar, released in 2017, further expanded their sound through electronic notes and alternative influences, which pushed them to headlining their own tours while also supporting recognized acts, including In Flames, Sleep Token, and Slipknot, at various festivals and events. Their 2019 album Alien and the following, Obsidian, in 2022, showed a lean even further into electronics, more industrial sounds, and heavier production while also exploring themes of technological alienation, modern anxiety, and societal collapse.

Their current lineup, which fans had the chance to experience live last Saturday, consists of Jon Deiley on guitar, Josh Smith on guitar, Nic Pettersen on drums, and Marcus Bridge handling vocals. Together, the four musicians delivered the kind of high-energy and technically polished performance that has helped Northlane build a devoted international following over the years.

Northlane’s reputation for explosive live performances, crushing breakdowns, and razor-sharp musicianship was on full display throughout their set at The Epic Event Center. From the moment the band took the stage, the venue erupted with energy as flashing lights and pounding percussion transformed the room into a chaotic yet captivating atmosphere. Fans could be seen crowd surfing, jumping in unison, and screaming along to nearly every lyric as the band powered through a tightly executed setlist that included:

  1. “Carbonized”
  2. “4D”
  3. “Bloodline”
  4. “Evian”
  5. “Talking Heads”
  6. “Clockwork”

By the time the band closed with “Clockwork,” the crowd was fully energized, turning the final moments of the set into one last explosive singalong before the lights dimmed in preparation for the final band.

Dayseeker is an American post-hardcore and alternative metal band formed in Orange County, California, in 2012. The group was originally founded by vocalist Rory Rodriguez, guitarists Alex Polk and Matt Steenstra, bassist Andrew Sharp, and drummer Mike Karle. Over the years, the band’s lineup evolved, with it currently standing at Rory Rodriguez (vocals), Gino Sgambelluri (guitar), Ramone Valerio (bass), and Zac Mayfield (drums), as Dayseeker continues to grow in popularity within the modern metalcore scene.

Since their formation, Dayseeker has released several studio albums that helped shape their signature sound. Their discography includes What It Means to Be Defeated (2013), Origin (2015), Dreaming Is Sinking /// Waking Is Rising (2017), Sleeptalk (2019), Dark Sun (2022), and Creature in the Black Night (2025). While the band originally leaned heavily into aggressive post-hardcore and metalcore influences, later releases introduced more melodic, ambient, and alternative rock elements that broadened their audience significantly.

Throughout Dayseeker‘s career, much of their success has come from touring, which helped them in being able to establish a fan base within North America and overseas. Some of the bands they have toured with include Silent Planet, Hawthorne Heights, Silverstein, Polaris, and Motionless in White. Dayseeker is known for their passionate live shows and vocals by Rory Rodriguez, which you could see at their sold-out performance.

The energy inside Epic Event Center was immediate the moment the lights dropped and the opening tracks echoed through the venue. Fans were packed shoulder to shoulder across the floor and sang along to the music being played between sets before the band had even fully taken the stage. When Dayseeker launched into their opening song, “Pale Moonlight,” the crowd erupted, screaming the lyrics to the track from their “Creature in the Black Night” album.

Frontman Rory Rodriguez delivered one of the strongest live vocal performances of the evening, prancing around the stage decorated with flowers and coffins, effortlessly transitioning between clean melodies and charged screams. The connection between the band and the crowd was notable, especially during fan favorites like “Sleep Talk” and “Without Me,” where nearly every lyric was shouted back toward the stage.

What stood out most throughout the night was the excitement and genuine passion in the room.
