Founded by Chris Freeman and drummer Brian Welch, GayC/DC is rounded out by bassist Glen Pavan, Patrick Goodwin on guitar, and Steve McKnight on lead guitar.
Patrick Goodwin gave Music Fiends the rundown on his two special fur kids — Little Hooker and Midna.
“I am Patrick Goodwin and I play guitar in GayC/DC.
This is my tuxedo cat and her name is Little Hooker. She adopted my husband and I about 2 years ago. I live in Denver and during a December snowstorm we noticed a small tuxedo cat hanging out and eating some food we left out on the porch for another stray cat we took care of. Over a few weeks we kept seeing her. One day she camped out on the porch for hours until I walked out and said to her “would you like to come in?” and she did. We posted to see if anyone was missing her and then took her to the vet to see if she was chipped, and nope, she was ours. We also have a black cat named Midna but my husband says that Little Hooker is very much my cat and I love her.
We named her Little Hooker because of the hook marking on her nose but over time she has earned that name by being the biggest flirt and sleeping with all of our guests.”
