You may not have heard off AIR APPARENT yet, but Neil Seithi’s eclectic pop has amassed about over 24,000 monthly listeners on his Spotify.
A newer taste of music here on M.F., AIR APPARENT is airy, indie, electro-pop mixed with that radio quality production sound that keeps you coming back. His newest song, “All By Yourself” ft. Krysta Youngs is an absolute hit waiting to happen. So dreamy.
Siethi was lovely to answer our fun PROBE questions, which you can read below!
LISTEN TO “ALL BY YOURSELF” BELOW
1) If a roach crashed your rehearsal space, would you run or would you kill it?
I’d run halfway out of my room, turn around, pick it up with one of my empty planters, and hurl it out the window.
2) Does anyone in the band like to play practical jokes? If so, what’s one of the all-time best ones?
I’m a one-man “band”, but people I collab with often love trolling me. The best one was a mixing engineer I worked with sent me a version of a mix and after about 30 seconds of song, it just turned into an extremely filthy dubstep Skrillex song.
3) What’s the last gift you received?
The last gift I got was a book called Crying in H-mart written by one of my favorite musicians Michelle Zauner. The book itself has been deeply moving, powerful, and evocative!
4) If you could pick one thing about yourself that you’d like your fans to know, what would it be?
I’ve written three songs off my upcoming album walking down the street maniacally singing voice notes into my phone.
5) What music are you listening to lately?
I’ve been really digging this Japanese lofi pop artist named Ichiko Aoba, the new Japanese Breakfast record, James Blake’s ballad-laden release, and the Marías.
