The KONG era begins live onstage this fall.

  • GORILLAZ The Mountain Tour kicks off September 17!
  • Tickets On Sale Monday, March 9 at 10am Local Time.
  • Presale Begins Wednesday, March 4 at 12pm Local Time.

The world’s most successful virtual band is very real where it counts – onstage. And this fall, Gorillaz are storming back across North America with their first extensive run since 2022, armed with their brand-new album The Mountain (out now) and a 22-date arena trek that promises pure animated chaos.

After months of speculation – plus a pair of Los Angeles shows where they performed The Mountain in full and launched the U.S. opening of their House of Kong exhibition — Gorillaz have officially confirmed the tour. The run kicks off September 17 in Orlando, FL and wraps on Halloween night (because of course it does) in Seattle, WA. The band will also headline Shaky Knees Festival in Atlanta.

Once again brought to life by co-creators Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett, the tour features Albarn joined by the Gorillaz live band and some very special guest performers. Little Simz will appear on most dates, while Deltron 3030 will perform on all shows.

The Gorillaz live show – hailed by Rolling Stone as “an overwhelming pop spectacle, with Damon Albarn’s steady presence to keep the audience focused” – draws from 25 years of genre-smashing brilliance. Since Albarn and Hewlett first unleashed 2D, Murdoc Niccals, Noodle and Russel Hobbs into the world, Gorillaz have stacked up an arsenal that includes “Feel Good Inc.,” “Clint Eastwood,” “On Melancholy Hill,” “DARE,” “Dirty Harry,” “Stylo,” “Kids with Guns,” “Tomorrow Comes Today,” “Rhinestone Eyes” and dozens more.

Their latest album, The Mountain, was released February 27 via their own independent KONG label. The record was preceded by the singles:
• “The Happy Dictator (featuring Sparks)”
• “The Manifesto (featuring Trueno and Proof)”
• “The God of Lying (featuring IDLES)”
• “Damascus (featuring Omar Souleyman and Yasiin Bey)”
• “Orange County (featuring Bizarrap, Kara Jackson & Anoushka Shankar)” / “The Hardest Thing (featuring Tony Allen)”

The Mountain joins a towering catalog that includes Gorillaz (2001), Demon Days (2005), Plastic Beach (2010), The Fall (2011), Humanz (2017), The Now Now (2018), Song Machine – Season One: Strange Timez (2020), and Cracker Island (2023).

A true global phenomenon, Gorillaz have toured everywhere from San Diego to Syria and Montevideo to Manchester. They’ve won numerous awards, including the Jim Henson Creativity Honor, and are recognized by The Guinness Book Of World Records as the planet’s Most Successful Virtual Act.

Tickets will first be available via a KONG Card presale beginning Wednesday, March 4 at 10am local time, followed by a Citi presale at 12pm local time.
