KMFDM’S LUCIA CIFARELLI JOINS LORDS OF ACID’S ‘PRAISE THE LORDS’ TOUR

Industrial fans, prepare for impact. Lucia Cifarelli, the relentless, unapologetic voice of the Ultra Heavy Beat machine KMFDM,  is bringing her signature sonic assault to the stage as a featured opening artist on select dates of Lords Of Acid’s “Praise The Lords” Tour.

Known for her razor-sharp presence and fierce delivery, Cifarelli will be joined by the ferocious femme collective Little Miss Nasty, igniting an already volatile lineup with even more sonic warfare.

Expect no soft landings. Lucia will unleash a solo set soaked in raw power, industrial grit, and dark glam elegance. This tour is a battleground for provocative performance, female dominance, and primal energy. Riding shotgun is Lords Of Acid’s latest incarnation of chaos, the unstoppable Carla Harvey, the new “Acid Queen,” fresh from her reign with metal crushers Butcher Babies.

“We’re thrilled to have Lucia Cifarelli joining us on this tour,” says Lords Of Acid founder Praga Khan. “She’s a fearless powerhouse, and an industrial music legend!”

Fearless is an understatement. Cifarelli stands as one of industrial music’s most formidable forces, a veteran of chaos and melody, shaping the sound of a generation. From the incendiary stages of KMFDM to collaborations with Acumen Nation/DJ? Acucrack, Combichrist, Victor Love, Valentina, Julian Beeston’s Featured, and more, her influence has ripped through the underground and into the bloodstream of modern industrial music.

Her genesis began in New York’s 90s alt-rock circuit as the front woman of DRILL (A&M Records), opening for the likes of Marilyn Manson, Stabbing Westward, Gang of Four, God Lives Underwater, Ace Frehley, The Genitorturers, and Sister Machine Gun. DRILL’s “What You Are” was featured in the cult soundtrack Empire Records, while “I Will” from her solo debut From The Land Of Volcanos (2003) landed on the American Pie 2 soundtrack.

Fast forward to 2021, and Cifarelli dropped her second solo album I Am Eye via Metropolis Records, setting the stage for what would become her most personal and uncompromising work yet, 2024’s No God Here. Self-written, self-visualized, and fan-funded through a Kickstarter campaign, the album was produced alongside KMFDM architect Sascha Konietzko and features contributions from longtime comrades Andy Selway, Andee Blacksugar, and Jules Hodgson. The result? Critical acclaim and a spot in The Aquarian Weekly’s Top 10 Albums of 2024.

No God Here is the weaponization of vulnerability. Each track peels back the skin of human experience, exposing the blood and soul beneath. It’s the first time Lucia took full creative control, writing every track, designing the artwork, and directing the visuals.

Since her 2000 induction into KMFDM, Cifarelli has appeared on thirteen studio albums and delivered her electric presence in over five hundred and thirty-five live shows. And she’s not done.

The “Praise The Lords” Tour launches May 27th in San Francisco, unleashing its industrial onslaught across 27 cities nationwide. Tickets and VIP experiences are now live at lordsofacidofficial.com.

This is more than a tour. It’s a revolution led by the queens of the underground.
