- New Album Dropping Late 2026!
LORDS OF ACID are set to launch the “Cheeky Freaky Tour 2026” this Saturday, kicking off a 29-city U.S. run that mixes headline club dates with major festival appearances and a stacked supporting lineup. Long known for pushing boundaries in both sound and stage presentation, the Belgian electronic provocateurs return with a new era fronted by current “Acid Queen” Carla Harvey and fresh music already making noise ahead of their next studio album.

Formed in Antwerp in 1988, Lords Of Acid became one of the defining names of the late-’80s and early-’90s hard-edged dance underground. Their blend of techno, acid house, industrial beats, and provocative lyrics carved out a lane all their own. Early classics like “I Sit On Acid” helped establish the band’s cult reputation, while albums including Lust and later releases kept them visible on Billboard dance and alternative charts. Decades later, the group remains one of the most recognizable names in electro-industrial and club culture crossover.
The upcoming tour promises a setlist that reaches across the band’s catalog, with staples such as “Pussy,” “I Sit on Acid,” and “Crablouse” alongside newer material. Fans can also expect the first live taste of songs from the band’s long-awaited seventh album, currently slated for late 2026.
That next chapter has already begun with the release of “Karaoke Superstar,” the band’s first new music in eight years. Featuring guest vocals from Princess Superstar, the single is described as a hyper-sexual, tongue-in-cheek, neon-soaked collision of industrial, acid dance, metal textures, and pop absurdity. It is the first in a planned series of singles leading into the new album.
The band has also rolled out a new video tied to the single, adding another visual blast to a project built around excess, satire, and high-impact theatrics. For a group that has always treated image and performance as part of the experience, the new clip fits naturally into the Lords Of Acid world.
Carla Harvey joined the band in early 2025, bringing a familiar name from the heavy music world into the fold. Previously known for her work with Butcher Babies, Harvey now steps into one of industrial dance music’s most iconic frontwoman roles.
The tour’s supporting cast adds even more variety to the lineup. Dead On A Sunday brings modern gothic energy and dark electronic edge. Princess Superstar arrives with the same razor-sharp attitude and club-ready charisma that made her a standout name in dance-pop and electro circles. Tony and the Kiki injects fashion-forward alt-pop flair, while MZ NEON opens the night with underground electronic pulse.

Festival stops include Sick New World in Las Vegas on April 25 and Ritual Noize Fest in Denver on May 2, with club dates rolling through cities nationwide.
With new music, a new visual era, and a coast-to-coast run about to begin, Lords Of Acid are stepping back onto the road exactly as expected: loud, provocative, playful, and impossible to ignore.
