Pump up the horror with Mark Hoppus as he shares his Halloween-themed playlist on the latest edition of After School Radio on Apple Music Hits.
Also, Foo Fighters and Sunny Day Real Estate alumn Nate Mendel joins Mark to talk about the Foo Fighter’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction and Sunny Day Real Estate’s seminal album, Diary.
Says Mendel about the Foos induction, “…it’s a huge deal. Yeah. I kind of struggle to describe it because it’s a little overwhelming. I feel like I’ll have more words to say about it in like a year. I’ve just described how I started in music, a little town in Eastern Washington, and just picked up a bass, trying to be like Sting. And then you wake up 30 years later and you’re in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. It’s kind of a little hard to wrap your head around.”
Finally, Blink-182 mate Travis Barker stops by to promote his new House of Horrors Halloween weekend stream. Barker is just the man for the event, revealing, “For me, I start listening to Halloween music and Christmas music right when September starts.”
