The Mars Volta Announce New Single “Vigil” + Album Details

Following a 10-year hiatus and on the heels of the release of two new singles, THE MARS VOLTA has unveiled details about their seventh full-length album, “The Mars Volta,” due out on September 16. The highly anticipated new album delivers its most sophisticated music to date and is now available for digital and physical pre-order.

Today, the band also released a third single and music video for “Vigil,” with Cedric Bixler-Zavala noting: “And the obits wait for a perfect name.”
