Queens of the Stone Age Begin First North American Tour in 5 Years

Queens of the Stone Age kicked off their first North American tour in five years at the Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre in Sterling Heights, Michigan on Thursday, August 3rd.

The first leg of the band’s The End Is Nero Tour runs through August 19th. The second leg picks up again on September 16th and wraps up on October 8th with a gig at the Aftershock festival in Sacramento, California.

Kicking off the show with possibly their best-known song, “No One Knows,” the band rolled through 18 tracks, which included four songs off QOTSA’s new album, In Times New Roman… alongside classic faves like “My God Is the Sun,” “Little Sister,” and “Go With the Flow.” Later in the set, frontman Joshua Homme dedicated “God Is in the Radio” to late QOTSA member Mark Lanegan.

Check out the fan-filmed footage from the show below, along with the complete setlist and list of remaining tour dates.
