Royal Blood Have Meltdown On-Stage at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend

British band Royal Blood had an on-stage meltdown during their performance at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Dundee, Scotland on Sunday after apparently being upset at receiving a lackluster response from the crowd.

Frontman Mike Kerr asked, “Who likes rock music?” After receiving some cheers, he responded, “Nine people. Brilliant….

“We’re having to clap ourselves because that was so pathetic.”  Turning directly to the camera, Kerr seemingly mocked the crowd: “Will you clap for us? Will you clap? You’re busy. Can you clap? Yes, even he’s clapping. What does that say about you?”

After Royal Blood’s seven-song set ended, Kerr stuck a pair of middle fingers into the air as he exited of the stage.

Royal Blood recently announced their 4th album, Back to the Water Below, is set to drop September 8th on Warner Records.
