SLIPKNOT Concert Paused After Fans Ignite Bonfire

PHOENIX, ARIZONA- Slipknot made some waves (or should I say flames?) last night over in Phoenix when fans decided to start a huge bonfire.

In true SLIPKNOT style, the band kept rocking as the flames grew higher. After a beautiful rendition of “Happy Birthday” was sung to guitarist Mick Thompson, on-lookers didn’t seem phased by the fire. Everyone surrounding the fire seemed to be having a blast, one onlooker was even singing along in the video provided by Accalia Colin.

The fire was lit outside on the lawn of the Amphitheatre, where fans threw their chairs in to keep the fire going. It took about 30 minutes to extinguish the fire, which was reportedly shooting about 30 feet up.

If anything, SLIPKNOT knows how to put on a, uh, fire show. Read some of the funnier tweets about the spectacle below:
