WATCH: Kittie To Release First Album in 13 Years, Unveil Single/Video “Vultures”

It’s official! Kittie has announced their first album in 13 years, titled Fire, is set to drop June 21st via Sumerian Records. The album was produced by Nick Raskulinecz, who is most known for his work with Foo Fighters, Rush, Halestorm, Alice in Chains, and Korn.

To give us a taste of what’s to come, the Canadian metal band has released the new track “Vultures,” which follows previously released singles “Eyes Wide Open” and “We Are Shadows.”

Regarding the new album, Kittie singer-guitarist Morgan Lander stated in a press release, “10 years ago, if someone would have told us that we would be releasing new Kittie music in 2024, we’d have dismissed them right away. It feels like something deeper than fate that’s brought us together again, allowing us to create something fearless and magical for you. We’ve worked incredibly hard over the past year, and surrounded ourselves with the ultimate dream team to make this album a reality. We cannot wait for you to lose yourselves in the passion and strength of Fire.”

The video for “Vultures” shows the band performing the song at the recent Sick New World festival in Las Vegas.

Kittie is also slated to perform at the Welcome to Rockville and Sonic Temple festivals, as well as to play a few select headlining North American dates throughout July and August.
