In a fake-news comedy sketch performed by Anthony Kiedis, Flea and Chad Smith posing as KHOT channel personalities Johnson Hammerswaddle, Todd the Squirrel and Randy Raindrops, the Red Hot Chili Peppers announced that they will embark on a global stadium tour in 2022.

Their press release states that “the boys are firing on all cylinders, their hearts are full and they’re fixing to unleash an infinite river of creativity, and rock your world” and that they have “never been more thrilled, bursting with commitment and purpose, as they are regarding this upcoming tour.”

Though no show dates, support acts or sales information have been released yet, the tour begins in June 2022 with the American dates starting in July.
