Raymond Watts began his blitz into the industrial realm back in the mid-1980s, stirring sonic storms as the swaggering soul behind PIG. Fourteen albums later, his music remains a fiery furnace of fierce, unfiltered truths. He’s shared stages with Nine Inch Nails, KMFDM, and Einstürzende Neubauten, each performance a pulsing parade of piercing power.
Beyond concerts, Watts wove wild, electrified wonders for the world of fashion, scoring soundtracks for Chloe, Marios Schwab, and Halston, while his creativity cracked the corridors of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, echoing through exhibitions like an untamed whisper.
PIG has been tearing through North America on their Heroin For The Damned Tour, peddling their latest feast for the senses, the Feast of Agony LP. Since kicking off on September 28, Raymond Watts has been delivering his blistering sermons against the hollow and hypocritical, backed by the powerhouse trio of Bradley Bills, Steve White, and Em Esch. As the tour winds down, the band leaves a trail of fury and unrelenting energy in their wake.
PIG dropped into NYC with Unitcode:Machine at the esteemed Bowery Electric for the 16th anniversary of Stimulate. The house was packed to the brim with enthusiastic fans – while the space itself was cozy, PIG put on an arena-sized show. The intensity was palpable, Watts reaching out to audience members, connecting on a meaningful level with his 1000-watt charisma. Among the lucky attendees of this unforgettable intimate performance were Patrick Bobilin (Midnight Choir) and photographer Jolene Siana.
