On August 1, 2026, music fans filled The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory in Irving, Texas, for a midsummer evening of soaring melodies and timeless alt-rock anthems. The venue’s unique indoor-outdoor setup provided a fitting backdrop for a concert that seamlessly bridged the gap between early-2000s nostalgia and fresh musical directions.
Featuring Colony House and Dashboard Confessional, The Fray headlined the show in support of their fifth studio album, A Light That Waits.
Indie-rock outfit Colony House, hailing from Franklin, TN kicked off the night, bursting onto the stage with an explosive, high-energy set that immediately set the tone. Their punchy rhythms, vibrant guitar riffs, and charismatic stage presence had the early-arriving crowd on their feet from the opening chords.

Delivering a crisp mix of fan favorites and relentless rhythm, the Nashville band effectively warmed up the pavilion and proved once again why they remain one of the most reliable live acts in modern indie rock.
Dashboard Confessional took the stage next, shifting the atmosphere into pure, cathartic collective memory. Frontman Chris Carrabba delivered a passionately raw performance, effortlessly guiding the audience through a setlist steeped in emotional vulnerability.

Dashboard wrapped up their triumphant set on the ultimate high note, delivering back-to-back performances of their legendary anthems “Vindicated” and “Hands Down.” The entire pavilion united in a full-throated chorus, echoing every word back to the stage and leaving the crowd energized for the headliner.
Finally, The Fray took the stage to anchor the night, dedicated to powerful songwriting and piano-driven rock. Their performance showcased a masterclass in setlist construction. Fresh tracks from the new record, including the title track, as well as “Ice Cold Lakes,” “My Heart’s a Crowded Room,” “Wherever You Reach For Me,” and “Sea Level Drive,” were woven naturally alongside the band’s iconic repertoire.

Finishing of the night was a Beatles Cover of “With a Little Help From My Friends.”
Rich piano arrangements, lush multi-part vocal harmonies, and dynamic lighting design accentuated the emotional weight of their new material while honoring the legacy that fans have cherished for over two decades. The interplay between front-of-house showmanship and intimacy made the expansive music factory feel remarkably close.
