The Sex Pistols are officially back on the road.

After last year’s North American run was canceled, the band has announced their rescheduled Fall 2026 tour – and they’re not easing into it. The trek begins September 11 in Dallas, Texas and runs through October 18 in Los Angeles, with dates across the U.S. and Canada, including newly added stops in Austin, Boston, Columbus, Houston, Kansas City, Phoenix, Nashville, Salt Lake City, and San Diego.

In a message, the band shared: “Here is some fantastic news! We’re back. Hittin’ the stage again with our rescheduled North American tour dates this Fall 2026.”

And that Dallas kickoff isn’t just another date on the calendar.

The tour launches at the Longhorn Ballroom – a venue woven into punk folklore. In 1978, the original Sex Pistols played the Longhorn during their first and only U.S. tour, a chaotic run of Southern shows that became the stuff of legend. The Dallas stop was particularly notorious, with hostile crowds, flying debris, and a collision of Texas honky-tonk culture and British punk provocation. It wasn’t polished. It wasn’t safe. It was history.

Originally opened in 1950, the Longhorn Ballroom has hosted everyone from Bob Wills and Willie Nelson to Ray Charles before evolving into a crucible for outlaw country and later, punk and alternative acts. When the Sex Pistols tore through the room in ’78, it marked one of the most infamous moments in its storied life.

Now, nearly five decades later, they’re returning to the scene – featuring Frank Carter on vocals – to relight that fuse.

The 2026 run includes both rescheduled 2025 dates and newly added cities, giving North American fans another shot at witnessing a band whose legacy still rattles stages.
