Taking Back Sunday has announced the upcoming release of their new album, 152, which will be the band’s first in seven years. 152 drops on October 27th, but you can stream the latest single, “S’old” below.

The song’s lyrics play on the words “sold” and “so old” with lines like, “You’re going to get s’old/ You’re going to get so old/ You’re going to get so old either way.”

The album features 10 tracks, and was produced by Tushar Apte and mixed by Neal Avron

The band said a statement, “Our hope is that you’re able to find a little bit of yourself in this new collection of songs, because you’re not alone, and neither are we.”

Lead singer Adam Lazzara said, “You would think after 20 years, we knew what each other is going to do. But there were so many times making this record where I heard the initial idea and thought I knew where it would go, but then I was super surprised.”

Drummer Mark O’Connell added, “When we’re writing songs, the one thing we ask ourselves – ‘Is it capable of making people feel something?’ You try to make people feel emotion. That’s the one goal we went in with, and we think we did it.”

Directed by DJay Brawner, the accompanying video for “S’old” was filmed at a recent backyard show on Long Island. Watch the clip below.
