Founded in 2019, the new wave synthpop trio, Don’t Get Lemon, is based in Austin, TX. Their 9-song second album, Have Some Shame, was released in April 2024 on à La Carte Records and Summer Darling Tapes.
Album tracks such as “Blow-Up” and “Highway 59” creatively explore the nostalgic sounds of the 80s and would be right at home on any classic John Hughes film soundtrack, yet their updated take on the genre breathes fresh air into the scene.
