NITE, the darkwave synthpop band hailing from Dallas, TX, recently sat down with Music FiendsAngela Alameda before their headlining show at Club Dada in Deep Ellum. They discussed their recent tour with Dead on a Sunday and The Funeral Portrait (who will be the supporting act on the upcoming tour with Five Finger Death Punch and Marilyn Manson that begins August 2nd), and how they’ve returned to their roots with their latest material by incorporating a more synthy, less grungy sound than in their previously released tracks.

Check out the interview above, which includes performance footage of “Godless City” off of 2017’s Reborn, and their latest single, “Our Light Will Never Die.”

Their most recent track, “Our Light Will Never Die,” dropped July 16th and only 9 days later has already reached over 8,000 streams on Spotify. This is on target to smash the statistics for their previously released single, “Price For Heaven,” which reached 10,000 Spotify streams after one month. NITE will release their next single, “All Your Pain,” in late August and plan to release their next album sometime next year.
